Gait is an often-overlooked aspect of human function. This is unfortunate as gait itself is critical to human locomotion, stability and performance. Gait disturbances are extremely common in society and there is a great need for individuals who are trained to quickly evaluate and quickly prescribe treatments to correct for these disturbances. Thus, this seminar is designed to accomplish just that. Quick, effective methods to assess gait abnormalities and the simple applications to correct for them. You will learn about the most common functional gait disturbances, the structural and postural disturbances that they are associated with and then how to apply quick effective treatments to correct them. Dress is casual as this module is designed to have a high degree of hands on practicums that will ensure each learner attains a competency in the evaluation and treatment applications presented.

In this we will focus on the different influences of the joints of the lower extremity and pelvis on gait patterning. You will learn how to quickly observe, assess and treat these areas for maximum results.
