801 – Neuron Theory & Receptor Activation – Live-Stream (EST)
June 1 @ 9:00 AM - June 2 @ 9:00 AM EDT$499 – $599
Presented by: Dr. Jessica Lofgren
The function of our nervous system is ultimately dependent upon the function of neurons that work together to create the human experience. This module focu20ses on the core concepts in neurophysiology and neuroscience to give the scholar a better understanding of how receptor-based treatments affect the brain and how their dysfunction leads to the development of musculoskeletal and neurologically based disorders. Participants will learn the importance of the evolution of the brain and nervous system from a clinical standpoint. This knowledge will affect the way that practitioner’s approach and interpret many of the examination procedures they currently perform with their patients, as well as open the doors to new clinical treatment applications taught throughout the module.
The teaching methodology at the Carrick Institute is a blend of theory and applicable skills in the clinical setting. Concepts are taught with supportive demonstrations and clinical mastery application opportunities An active and conversational learning environment is encouraged where questions are asked and points of view are openly discussed. One’s mind is challenged with the presentation of modern paradigms to create the world’s best clinicians.
