Peripheral Nervous System disorders are extremely common in society often times causing much human suffering. There exists an intimate interplay between the CNS and PNS such that the dysfunction in the brain can often promote problems in the PNS. This program is specifically designed to give practitioners the tools necessary to diagnose and effectively treat the most common compressive neuropathies. Better results will be achieved by attaining a better understanding of how the brain promotes body posturing that contributes to the development of compressive mononeuropathies in the arms and legs. Treatment applications addressing brain influences will be discussed and demonstrated.
The teaching methodology at the Carrick Institute is a blend of theory and applicable skills in the clinical setting. One’s mind is challenged with the presentation of modern paradigms to create the world’s best clinicians.
