Presented by: Dr. Jessica Lofgren
Do you know what the 4 most common causes of spinal cord injuries?
- Motor vehicle accidents.
- Sports and recreation injuries.
- Alcohol-related injuries
Do you know the most common location for a spinal cord injury and it’s causes?
The neck is the most common location, and most often caused by degenerative disc disease. If you look at the numbers, you are almost guaranteed to have patients in your office that have compression of their spinal cords that you are not even aware of.
In this seminar, you will learn how to :
- Quickly diagnose spinal cord injuries and compressions in your patients.
- Recognize any contributing factors from other central neurological structures that may be complicating the patient’s condition.
- Develop effective treatment plans using manual therapies, neurological rehabilitation, and chiropractic adjustments.
These patients are already in your practice. In fact, out of the next 100 patients, you work with, the statistics say that 9 of them have symptoms associated with some variation of compression or injury of the spinal cord.
