825 Introduction to Functional Neurology and Receptor Based Rehabilitation with Dr. Ashkan Jalili – Vancouver
November 24 @ 9:00 AM - November 25 @ 9:00 AM EST$499 – $599
Presented by:Dr. Ashkan Jalili
The receptor-based treatment paradigm is becoming a key paradigm amongst practitioners using manual therapies. It focuses on the understanding that we affect the CNS by using various environmental stimuli that activate receptors throughout the body. Those receptors change the activation patterns of various nerves thus ultimately changing brain function. By understanding how these receptor systems interact and create change in the CNS allows the practitioner to make better choices on the type of modality to use as well as how it will interact with other types of stimulus.
This program focuses on some practical and effective ways of applying Clinical Neuroscience for the practicing clinician.
Participants will learn how, when and why to utilize clinical neuroscience and receptor-based neurological stimulation.
- Learn about Clinical Neuroscience, its foundational concepts and why it will transform your practice.
- Learn assessments and tests to get insight into a patient’s neurological presentation.
- Take advantage of case-based learning by reviewing Dr. Carrick’s patient videos demonstrating how he reached his diagnosis and his treatment approach.
- See clinical neuroscience applications that you can apply with your patients.
The teaching methodology at the Carrick Institute is a blend of theory and applicable skills in the clinical setting. Concepts are taught with supportive demonstrations and clinical mastery application opportunities An active and conversational learning environment is encouraged where questions are asked and points of view are openly discussed. One’s mind is challenged with the presentation of modern paradigms to create the world’s best clinicians.
