American Board of Functional Neurology
The American College of Functional Neurology has a certification process to become a Fellow of the American Board of Functional Neurology. To be board eligible for the FACFN (American Board of Functional Neurology) examination you need to have completed a minimum of 350 credit hours of training in clinical neuroscience by an ACFN approved educational program. All Carrick Institute courses are approved by the ACFN & the ACNB.

American Board of Brain Injury and Rehabilitation
ABBIR a neurological specialty certification board in the subspecialty of Brain Injury and Rehabilitation. The ABBIR is a sub-agency of the American College of Brain Injury and Rehabilitation® (ACFN). To be board eligible for the FABBIR (Fellow of the American Board of Brain Injury and Rehabilitation) examination you need to have completed a minimum of 350 Brain Injury and Rehabilitation credit hours of training in an ACFN approved educational program.

American Board of Neurochemistry and Nutrition
The American College of Functional Neurology has a certification process to become a Fellow of the American Board of Neurochemistry and Nutrition. To be board eligible for the FABNN (Fellow of the American Board of Neurochemistry and Nutrition) examination you need to have completed a minimum of 200 credit hours of training in clinical neuroscience, and 150 credit hours of training in Neurochemistry and Nutrition in an ACFN approved educational program.

American Board of Childhood Developmental Disorders
The American College of Functional Neurology has a certification process to become a Fellow of the American Board of Childhood Development Disorders. To be board eligible for the FABCDD (Fellow of the American Board of Childhood Developmental Disorders) examination you need to have completed a minimum of 200 credit hours of training in clinical neuroscience, and 150 credit hours of training in Childhood Developmental Disorders in an ACFN approved educational program.

American Board of Vestibular Rehabilitation
To be board eligible for the FABVR (Fellow of the American Board of Vestibular Rehabilitation) examination you need to have completed a minimum of 200 credit hours of training in clinical neuroscience, and 150 credit hours of training in Vestibular Rehabilitation in an ACFN approved educational program.

American Board of American Board of Human Performance
The American College of Functional Neurology has a certification process to become a Fellow of the American Board of Human Performance. To be board eligible for the FABHP you must be a licensed health care primary care provider or profession in a healthcare professional field (MD, DO, DC, DPT, ND, PhD, etc), that has completed a minimum of 200 credit hours of training in clinical neuroscience, and 150 credit hours of training in Human Performance in an ACFN approved educational program.

Core Curriculum
Select ACFN Board Fellowships Require 200 hours of Clinical Neuroscience Education. These three core programs provide the educational requirements needed to cover the 200 required hours for Clinical Neuroscience Education.

ACNB Examination Information
The 2023 Exams will be held as follows:
Written exam on Saturday, May 6th, and Saturday, October 14th – Online
Practical exam dates and locations are to be announced.
Exam registration:
For the May Written exams, the regular registration deadline is March 31, 2023.
Late registration is April 1, 2023 through April 15, 2023.
For the October Written exams, the regular registration deadline is August 31, 2023.
Late registration is September 1, 2023 through September 15, 2023.
Late Registration Fee includes a 20% late registration assessment.
