Dear Scholar,

Everyone knows someone who has committed a cyber crime. Perhaps you know someone who downloaded a song they shouldn’t have.  Perhaps you know someone who has watched a Carrick Institute OnlineClass when they were not enrolled.

Many institutions are using a formal cyber ethics curriculum with attendance monitoring software that will tell them if more than the authorized user is attending a program. The Carrick Institute has this ability.  We will be using this for our distance learning examinations when we have to certify the integrity of the process.

We prefer to establish  a culture of proper use of technology with our online and on demand classrooms.  All scholars who are admitted to our online live stream and on-demand educational programs will certify that they will not share their links, passwords or permit individuals who are not accepted and authorized to attend or gain access to our program.  By agreeing to these terms, you certify to abide by these ethical standards.

WIFI AND CHAT ACCESS AGREEMENT If Carrick Institute has not authorized you to access this service, you must logout immediately. 1. Carrick Institute is providing you access to our Guest WLAN as a complimentary service for your convenience during your visit at Carrick Institute. Carrick Institute routinely monitors and logs communications over its networks for security, performance, and other purposes. Thus, you acknowledge and agree that Carrick Institute may access, monitor, audit, intercept and disclose any such communications, data or information. 4. You agree that Carrick Institute may not make certain Internet services available, and may revoke your access to this WLAN at any time for any reason with or without notice. 5. As an extension of the Carrick Institute Network Infrastructure, in the event of any issues please contact the Carrick Institute. 6.
