Course Description

The Vestibular Applications course is an advanced, 25-hour training designed to enhance clinical vestibular rehabilitation skills through hands-on, evidence-based strategies. Led by Dr. David Traster, this course provides practical applications of treatments such as gaze stability exercises, VOR modification, ocular motor training, photobiomodulation, oxygen therapy, and full-body rotational therapies. Participants will learn specialized rehab protocols for dizziness and balance disorders including BPPV, vestibular ataxia, autonomic vertigo, concussion-related dizziness, and functional vestibular conditions. Ideal for clinicians who have completed foundational vestibular training and want to elevate their skills to expert levels.

What you’ll learn:

  • Perform gaze stability, VOR, and ocular motor exercises for vestibular rehabilitation.
  • Apply clinical rehab strategies for dizziness, BPPV, vestibular ataxia, concussion, and balance disorders.
  • Integrate modalities like photobiomodulation, oxygen therapy, and electrical stimulation into vestibular care.
  • Develop customized rehab plans for oculomotor dysfunctions such as nystagmus, saccades, and convergence deficits.
