Course Objectives –
The main objective of this module is to review the aspects of motoric integration in humankind with emphasis on the applicability of this information in the clinical chiropractic practice. Further discussion of the structure and function of the major volitional and non-volitional motor pathways. The function of the basal ganglia, cerebral cortex, cerebellum, brainstem, and spinal cord will be discussed in relation to the human motor system. Chiropractic applications specific to the diagnosis and treatment of both central and peripheral pathology will be covered.
