Every year, one of our most popular weekend seminars is the Board Review with Drs. Klotzek and Antonucci. For the test candidates, this weekend gives them the information and tools they need to feel confident about the examination material and requirements. Our seasoned scholars also like to attend this module as a clinical update to diagnostic and treatment applications. The board review is available live in Florida and via live-stream.
To hear more about what you to expect out of this 3-day module, watch the video below!
So we are getting close to that time of year again where all that hard work, time away from family, long weekend, travel and studying have come to a pinnacle. It’s neurology board examination time.
This year, and every year, the Carrick Institute brings together Drs. Klotzek and Antonucci, to deliver you the tools that you need to pass this examination.
This neurology board review is one of a kind. What we have been able to do condense over 300 hours of education into a hands-on, practical, focused, and comprehensive 3-day weekend that will not only assist you in understanding the structure, requirements, and information that will be presented to you at the board examination, but also provide you with a focused review of key topics in the field of clinical neuroscience.
So you are probably wondering what we have planned. First, you have to know what you are getting yourself into. We will discuss the current structure and requirement of the neurology examination. Secondly, you have a limited time on this test, so we have to not just teach you how to understand and remember the information you’ll need, but also teach you how to compartmentalize it so that you can recall it nice and quickly.

We have also, over the years, learned how to teach our scholars how to perform the neurlogical and physical examination that the board examiners want to see. I’ll warn you, it may be very different than the physical examination that you are performing on a daily basis inside your clinic.
Lastly, it has probably been a long time since you took neuron theory and some of the earlier modules. So we have to make sure that you are solid in the understanding of these concepts because that’s a huge part of the written examination. Our intention of providing this course is to benefit you in 3 ways:
- We want you to be prepared and confident for this board examination so you can pass the exam and join this community of clinical neuroscience experts.
- We want you to finish this examination with plenty of time to spare instead of sweating it out till the last second.
- We have infused this course with clinical applications that will make all of the information that you have culminated over the last few years become very pragmatic.
Most importantly, we want you to PASS! Last year, the Carrick Institute board review attendees fostered a 94% pass rate for their examinations. So if you are serious about becoming boarded as a functional neurologist, we hope that you will join us for this review so that are armed with the tools, technique, and knowledge you need to ace this examination!
We look forward to seeing you!
