Dear Delegate,
The Governor of the State of Florida has declared a State-Wide Emergency in preparation for Hurricane Matthew’s effect on our State.
The primary concern is ensuring safety and protection of the public. The route of the Hurricane is questionable but Orlando is under a Hurricane Warning and as such, we have been directed to postpone the ISCN Congress until February, 3-5. 2017. The Congress will convene on the Friday morning with the Gala Celebration on Saturday Evening and a special Super Bowl Party on Sunday after the Congress.
Hundreds of Delegates are affected by this natural disaster and we are thankful that we have been able to be forward thinking and that there has been no disaster or loss of life for our colleagues and their families.
All delegates will be automatically registered for the February Conference. This ISCN Congress will be attended by delegates from around the globe and serves to be one of the largest meetings in Neurology this year.
We are saddened by the necessity to postpone this symposium but it is beyond our control. Thank you very much for your attention and we look forward to seeing you in February. Further information will be following.
We have had to evacuate Cape Canaveral and both the Registrar’s Office and the Carrick Institute Learning Center have been prepared for a potential landfall of Hurricane Matthew.
